The Impact of Father Absence on African American Boys
Father absence can cause deep wounds that last a lifetime. Boys can experience feelings of anger, confusion, and profound loss from not knowing their father. My career has been devoted to helping men and boys heal their wounds, live productive lives and end the cycle of father absence. In my book, I provide insight into the struggles many boys face, how they can heal, and what can be done to strengthen the black family.
